Why would you not keep the existing facade? Even as an auto body shop, it has so much more charm than the proposed design. Walk-up concepts are nice in general, but in this case not in keeping with the scale on the block. When the adjacent Market Street corridor redevelops according to the Market-Octavia plan, the scale of these walk-ups will be dwarfed. Seems the architect ought to spend more time in the neighborhood...
